On the 1550 v.4/4.1 just jumper the eeprom, power down, back-up, count a    
slow 10, remove jumper.  Will work on many but not most ADT branded boards.

again, it MAY blow the dialer doing this with the new systems, but the older version DSC method works fine with no chance of damage to the board also, and try this is your feeling frisky, if you have a PC4000 locked out remove the large RAM chip on the board (its socketed) and reverse it, power up for 5 seconds then put it back normally, mind you if you want to try  this with a $200 board go right ahead, you have more balls than I :)    
   
I have a board- would swap? Again, how did you bypass lockouts.  Whatever you did, even in a Ver. 3 might lead me into something on these. There are literally hundreds of these (probably 2,000 +) in norhtern Alabama alone. I also note that the ADT branded ones have a slightly different Install Manual.  Nothing really to speak off because most of the boards are locked. Some however seem to have been spared the 'lobotomy.' By the way, I have also received a few FBII branded boards (1550, Ver 4.1, rev. 11m).  These boards have different diodes.  They are absolutely bullet-proof.  Lightning, power surges, nothing seems to affect them.  I hooked one up wrong to test it (power supply into the keypad lugs) and lite up ALL the fuses.  Replaced the Aux and all was well.

1550's V.4 and 4.1 rev. 9 and 10 that have been ADT branded were pure  slammer specials.  1st three zones locked at home/away-delay, 4th zone as motion (interior follower), 5 and 6 perimeter.  Any smoke or other use and we downloaded from ADT.    
Well this is something new then to me, the boards I had were version 3's, keypad labled ADT but they obviously were standard 1550's, apparently ADT did something different after that I see wouldn't mind playing with one of the ones your talking about tho  although
